East Sussex Children’s Services Authority (CSA) makes arrangements for the admission of children to Chantry Community Primary School.


 Chantry Community Primary School is a fully inclusive school and we welcome children from all backgrounds and abilities.


Chantry Community Primary School follows the law on the restriction of class sizes for Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. This allows us a maximum of 30 children in each class.


Chantry Community Primary School will admit a maximum of 30 children to the Reception class each year.



 The deadlines for the 2024/2025 academic year admissions round are:

  • Closing date for applications: 15th January 2024
  • Allocation decisions sent out: 16th April 2024
