Class Teacher KS2

**Maternity Cover: April to December 2025 **

 

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative teacher to join our supportive and caring team on a maternity cover basis. 

 

The successful candidate will: 

· have KS2 Teaching experience

· be caring and nurturing to support our students

· have high expectations of children’s achievement;

· be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities;

· have excellent behaviour management skills;

· support our creative curriculum

· work in partnership with the key stage team, other staff and with our wider community.

 

This is a temporary position, from April to December 2025. 0.4 FTE hours per week, term time only. This role is graded at Main Pay Scale.

 Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 + MDSA 

Permanent position to start January 2025  

 

 

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support in our well established EYFS. 

The successful candidate will: - 

  • enjoy working with children, be calm, patient and nurturing; 

  • have elevated expectations of children’s achievement; 

  • be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities; 

  • have excellent behaviour management skills; 

  • understand SEN; 

  • contribute towards raising levels of achievement to ‘Outstanding’ 

  • support our creative curriculum 

  • work in partnership with the staff and with our wider community 

  • Early Years experience desirable. 

 

This is a permanent position. 23.75 hours per week as a Teaching assistant and 6.25 hours per week as a MDSA, term time only. This role is graded at Single Status Grade 4.

Individual Needs Assistant

Fixed Term: January 2025 - July 2027

 

We are looking for a self-motivated Individual Needs Assistant to provide support in the classroom for a child in Key Stage 2 

The role will mainly involve supporting an individual child but may from time to time involve working with small groups, to focus and support their learning, both within the classroom and in intervention groups outside it.  

The successful candidate will: - 

  • Ideally have experience of supporting children with challenging behaviour and is caring and calm with the patience to support an individual child with their learning, emotional wellbeing and behaviour. 

  • enjoy working with children, be calm, patient and nurturing; 
  • have elevated expectations of children’s achievement; 

  • be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities; 

  • have excellent behaviour management skills; 

  • understand SEN; 

  • contribute towards raising levels of achievement to ‘Outstanding’ 

  • support our creative curriculum 

  • work in partnership with the staff and with our wider community. 

 

This is a fixed term contract from January 2035 - July 2027. 23.75 hours per week, term time only. Single Status Grade 3 

Normal working hours will be Monday - Friday 8.35am - 3.15pm
